LU 10 is associated with several therapeutic applications, primarily addressing issues related to heat in the Lung meridian and organ. These include:
· Purging both excess and deficient heat from the Lung channel and its associated organ.
· This addresses symptoms of fever and hoarseness.
· Alleviating severe sore throat accompanied by intense heat.
· Managing spontaneous bleeding linked to heat conditions.
Theoretically, LU 10 holds significance as it is identified as both a Ying Spring point and a Fire point within traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). These classifications help inform its use in treatment strategies.
