Meet Adam
Adam didn’t come in talking about food.
He came in talking about potential.
The kind he knew he had…
but couldn’t seem to reach.
“I don’t feel like I’m living up to what I’m capable of.
And I don’t know why I keep holding back.”
On the surface?
He was a professional athlete.
A good one.
Drafted as the next big thing.
But under the surface?
The wires were crossed.
Intrusive thoughts.
Self-doubt.
Binge eating to cope.
All-or-nothing crashes.
Anxiety in sport.
And a painful pattern of chasing approval ,
while silently falling apart.
The Hidden Fight No One Saw
At footy training, he was quick, strong, and sharp.
But in his head?
“If I drop this mark, the coach will bench me.”
“If I’m not perfect, I’ll get overlooked.”
“If I’m not excelling , what’s the point?”
He withdrew.
From contests.
From conversations.
From himself.
And after games?
Or when life didn’t go to plan?
He'd binge eat.
Not out of hunger.
But to feel in control.
To escape.
“It gives me a hit of something when I feel like I’m nothing.”
What We Worked On
From session one, we weren’t just treating symptoms.
We were unwinding the source code.
The unspoken grief from family stress, knee injuries, and losing connection with his dad.
The perfectionist program that said “If it’s not perfect, it’s worthless.”
The emotional chaos tied to binge cycles, confidence crashes, and ADHD scatter.
We rewired the system.
Installed new beliefs.
Cleared out the noise.
Who He Became
Three weeks in?
No binge urges.
Chocolate in the house , untouched.
Negative thoughts? Catchable. Containable. Replaced.
He trained with a new voice in his head.
The voice of a calm, focused, grounded man.
“I’ve been running with a group of girls…
and for the first time in years, I haven’t had a single intrusive thought.
I feel relaxed. Clear. Confident.
I think I’m starting to like my life again.”
The Moment That Changed Everything
Fast forward to June 29, 2025.
Adelaide Oval.
The final siren of the SA vs WA state game sounds.
Adam is surrounded by teammates.
The crowd erupts.
🏅 He’s just been awarded Best on Ground.
He steps up to the mic.
Gives a speech.
Thanks his team.
Smiles.
But this time?
No second-guessing.
No spirals.
No internal war.
Just pride. Fulfilment. Peace.
What You Don’t See in the Before Photo
You don’t see:
The shame cycles
The late-night overthinking
The deep grief from family struggles
The “I’m not good enough” loop
The fear of failing again
But that was Adam’s normal…
Until we rewired it.
If You See Yourself in Adam
This isn’t about food.
Or football.
It’s about the silent programs that run your life , until you rewrite them.
If you’re stuck in a loop you can’t logic your way out of,
but you know you’re meant for more?
Let’s talk.
I offer a no-pressure, no-BS clarity call.
It’s not therapy.
It’s not a sales pitch.
It’s a real conversation ,
About what’s holding you back.
And how we can change it, for good.
